Meghann O’Leary serves as the Project Manager for Soteria Las Cruces. Her lived experience deeply shapes the community work she does at Soteria, where she supports individuals navigating extreme states with compassion, respect, and grounding presence. Meghann holds a PhD in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in special education from the University of New Mexico.

She brings a rich background in disability studies, community arts, and inclusive education to her role, weaving these strengths into a healing-centered, peer-led environment. Meghann’s work reinforces our commitment to creating spaces rooted in dignity, autonomy, and the transformative power of creativity, connection, and collective care.
