A central component of the successful delivery of trauma-informed care is the ability to effectively communicate and partner with people from varied cultural backgrounds. Participants will be exposed to a wide breadth of lived experiences in order to increase reflective thinking skills and awareness around our own empathy gaps, cultural assumptions, and hidden prejudices that impact our work.
