Forensic Peer Support

This training is designed for CPS’s supporting individuals impacted by the justice system. Participants will gain practical tools, strategies, and advocacy skills to provide effective peer support, address unique challenges supporting individuals navigate systems while promoting recovery, empowerment, and community connection.

Course description

A training designed for peer professionals who support people impacted by the justice system—including courts, incarceration, or probation experiences. Participants will learn how to provide effective peer support, advocacy, and guidance while addressing the unique experiences faced by those navigating justice-involved experiences. This training offers practical tools and strategies to provide effective peer support, address unique challenges supporting individuals navigate systems while promoting recovery, empowerment, and community connection.
