TIPS

Much is known and has been documented about the value of peer-to-peer support groups. Kiva’s Trauma Informed Peer Support (T.I.P.S.) training takes peer support to the next level by supporting people with lived experience and/or peer support workers achieve a greater understanding of and capacity to respond to trauma. This training reinforces the key principles of trauma-informed peer support, which leads to trauma-informed, resiliency based outcomes.

Primary Audiences: Individuals providing peer support in a peer-run setting and/or who want a better understanding of peer support.

Course Length: 10 Hours

                          All Classes are  From 10:00am to 3:00pm ET

                  January 31st and February 1st, 2023- Application process is closed.

                 March 7th and March 9th- 2023– Application process is closed.

                  April 12th and April 13th-2023-Application process is closed.

              June 6 and June 7th –Application process is closed.

July 31 and August 4th .Application process is closed.

Sept 18th and Sept 22 Application process is closed.

October 11th  and October 13th Application is closed.

November 13th and November 17th. Application process will open on Oct. 23rd
